TV shows

If I can choose between a movie or a tv show, today, I will not hesitate and say TV shows. This year, I watch more than 30 different tv shows. From totally different genres like drama, comedy, crime, sit-coms...

I got to say that I even more respect writers of tv shows than directors. Being able to come with a strong story than can continue without the viewers getting bored even after 5 years is a huge exploit.

There is no limit for imagination or creativity. Everything is possible. A movies comes to an end after 2 hours. With a tv shows we can make it last. It's not a surprise why we reserve dessert for the end: it's because we have we are going to savour this moment. Well that's the same here.

There are different one: Guilty pleasure, OMG, the one when we count the days before the next episode, the one that we watch when we are bored and have nothing to do, the one that we like but we shouldn't....

Each one has his level of satisfactory and there are some days when I count the hours before going back home and relaxing in front of a tv show and forget everything for one moment.

Photography

I've always loved taking picture and even more since I had "Len Base Media" at VFS. I learnt a lot of effects and the function of the camera that I always wanted to do. In one of my assigment in "Art and Creativity" I took a picture and the title was "Don't catch, Live it". Well it's true, but being really absent-minded or having the beginning of the alzheimer disease, picture are a way to not forget. It's always good when you watch an old album photo and remember some silly things. It makes you realize how life is quick.

Photography is a way to take a picture of one moment, and you need less than one second to remimber that day just like a video in your mind.
It's also a way to let people discover how a person can see the world differently from them and present it through pictures.

Directors

Spielberg, Lucas, James Cameron and Baz Luhrmann are the directors who gave the desire and the dream to be, one day, in the film industry.

Creativity, Imagination (and personally Genius) are the main words that can describe them.

I love how Baz Luhrmann can, throught nature, give an emotion and create a story. Just like Terrence Malick, in the "Thin red line" the narrator said: "What's this war in the heart of nature? Why does nature vie with itself? The land contend with the sea? Is there an avenging power in nature? Not one power, but two?"

I did my first movie from my senior year based of how these two directors could express an emotion and a story by filming the nature.

Spielberg, Lucas and Cameron are just the 3 best directors of the century. Of course I speak for myself but they clearly changed, improve and helped the movie industry being revolutionized.

I'm not really into deep dramas. Few independant movies are worth it. And directors saying that special effects destroyed the film industry clearly doesn't get what "CINEMA" means.

Music

Music is the secret ingredient that complete a movie. It gives a stronger emotion to the image that is being filmed.

I love music and can live without it because it inspire me in my everyday life.
It can comfort you, relax, put you in a good mood...

I still thinks it's a mysterious, enigmatic and beautiful art.
Movie are becoming classics also thanks to music. What would be Stars Wars without its music.

Anyway, life and film industry wouldn't be the same without music.
